Default Best Mainstream Fragrances in the Last 10 Years

I want to know what you think are the best mainstream fragrances in the last 10 years. List as many as you'd like. I'm still somewhat new to the world of fragrances so right now I'm still trying various mainstream fragrances and not going into the expensive world of niche. Well, what do you think are the best mainstream fragrances in the last 10 years?

L'Instant by Guerlain would certainly make my top 5.

Here are some that I think are excellent and/or different enough to warrant checking out. Of course I'm sure many would disagree with my list, but.. you know what they say about opinions

Prada Amber Pour Homme (deceptively deep and complex. Very rich and high quality smelling)
Terre d'Hermes (sure you know all about this )
Viktor and Rolf Antidote (very complex scent with clearly distinct stages of evolution)
Narcisso Rodriguez PH (a modern take on grey flannel)
Fleur du Male (I don't like this, but it's quite unique amongst designer faire, so is worth mentioning)
Caron L'Anarchiste (does this count as mainstream? Well, pricewise it fits in with mainstream offerings, so I'm including it)
Versace PH (many here would disagree. I think it's got an excellent tart/tangy but deep citrus opening and a great woody drydown. A perfect everyday/casual scent, without being vapid like much of the designer offerings. Requires a full wear to evaluate properly as it is ostensibly quite similar to much that's out there. Well, I suppose it *is* similar to a lot that is out there, but in my opinion it just does everything right, and hence why I see it as a great scent. It's simple, it's accessible, and it is flawlessly executed)
M7 (I want to love this, but can't - yet understand how many could)

Though the majority have been disappointments, there have been many decent ones if you're going to go as far back as 10 years. My top 3 would have to be:

    Guerlain Homme
    Armani Attitude
    Burberry Brit

    Silver Shadow Altitude
    Narciso Rodriguez for Him
    Burberry London

Rive Gauche (smells like shaving foam, classic barbershop smell)
M7 (the only oudh prominent scent done right in a commercial release, wait till this one gets discontinued...)
Dior Homme (made the Iris note, famous!)
Declaration (merger of gourmand notes and oriental woody goodiness)
    Gucci Ph (cedar? anyone?)
Encre Noir (earthy vertivers? a first one in mainstream...commercial releases have never touched the niche domain this close as EN did)
L'Eau Bleue d'Issey (there isnt a scent like this, fcuking sexy)

    + so many more!!!!

    Dior Homme
    Infusion d'Homme
    M7
    Rive Gauche
    L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme
    Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune
    Cologne du 68
    Mugler Cologne

Bulgari Black, Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin and Boucheron's Jaipur are all good fragrances, which I can appreciate, but don't care for personally that much. Still, worth trying. Gucci's Pour Homme and Envy are also worth a mention.

Strange nobody mentions Armani Code..It's much too popular, that's why probably most BN'ers won't respect it, but it's absolutely one of the best of the last decade.

I have terre but I dont find hard to understand all the great reviews it gets over here, almost like a cult fragrance. To me is just an ok but does not blow me away.

I have to give it to another fragrance supervised by Tom Ford : Gucci Envy. Not my favorite, but it definitelly simbolises an era.
