I'm not a big fan of anise myself, but I think Lolita Lempicka did a great job of combining the anise with the sweetness. It smells like cookies but is very wearable. The thing is that it's making me sick too lately (it never did before), so although I love it I don't wear it too often. D&G pour homme has become too common so I will probably never own it again (used to be my signature in 2004). And A*men, well I respect it but it's not for me. Rive Gauche is waiting to be tested at my skin. Those 3 you chose give me a terrible headache. The one thing I do not like about LL is not the vanilla, but the anise note. Anise and nutmeg are the two notes I dislike the most. The funny thing, is that even though I hate anise everywhere else, I love it in Rive Gauche, one of my top 3 fragrances. Go figure.
