Default Which Guerlain Vetiver is which in "The Guide."

LT doesn't like the GV flankers. He calls one a dry sports frag and he says the other has a sweet English Leather type of drydown. However, he says this in the review of Vetiver Extreme and doesn't say which is which. Does anyone know? Also, do you agree with this assessment?
    Thanks.

page 353, Vetiver Extreme. Flanked on one side by a "dry sports frag and on the other side by a cheap english leather drydown"

I cannot comment as I have never smelled the VE version, me being a addict to GV itself.

I think the Vetiver Frozen is the 'dry sports frag' and the Extreme is the 'cheap leather'.

The best is Vetiver Pour Elle (Paris exclusive, unfortunately)

richard d: I think when LT says it is flanked, he is referring to the original GV, and not the GVE.

Why don't you just email him, I'm sure he'll answer your question?

I was just a little curious. If I emailed him with all my questions, I'm sure he'd stop answering them pretty quickly. LOL. And I'd also like to hear what others have to say, whether they agree or not. I think bbBD is right about which is which, but I haven't sampled any of the 3, so I wanted to hear what others had to say about that particular issue.

I did not like Vetiver Extreme when I tried it. It reminded me a little of some 'generic' green masculines that are non-offensive but altogether too conservative to get me excited. Actually, it reminded me of Miracle Homme L'Aquatonic by Lancome. Extreme, it is not.

I haven't smelled Vetiver Frozen, Vetiver Sport or Vetiver Pour Elle.

Ah, so he could have been referring to Vetiver Sport as the other flanker in question, and not GVF, right?
