Default Art of Shaving Sandalwood - can I treat it as unisex?

So I generally have no problem at all with wearing men's fragrances, even if I am a woman. In fact, I have very few fragrances that aren't at least "unisex", and I'd guess that i have more purely-men's than purely-women's.

But there's something about a brand named "Art of Shaving" that makes me doubt myself. I really, really like my sample of Art of Shaving Sandalwood, but I feel the need for reassurance: Is there any reason why a woman who's comfortable with unisex scents should hesitate to wear this one?

Of course not! Is that all you needed to hear? Excellent! Now spray that stuff on and go out smelling gooood!

Patsy: Oh, this? Chanel No. 5.

I like the scent very much - when its eucalyptus top note burns off, the sandalwood is very true and lasting.

Maybe we need a company called Art of Waxing - with signature frag to match.

If you like it, wear it

You have our blessing, go forth and smell awesome and spread joy all around.
But once you get locked into a serious perfume collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

I love sandalwood and got a sample of the Art of Shaving one at Nordstrom. But I found I preferred Serge Lutens Santal Blanc.

Go for it, if you like it.

Yay! Thanks, folks. I can now be confident that wearing it is not an invitation to Point and Laugh. (Yes, I guess I am having a brief Junior High School Brain interval.)

(Edited to add: And, yes, Santal Blanc was also _really nice_, and probably mutually redundant with the Art of Shaving Sandalwood. Thank you for reminding me of its existence - I might have been sorry.)

(Speaking of mutually redundant fragrances, does anyone else find Parfums d'Empire Iskandar to be redundant with Goutal Eau d'Hadrien, or is it just how they develop on me? I prefer the first, but I own the second, and I can't now justify buying the first.)
