Default Xmas gifts - Rykiel Homme(Grey) & Guerlain Homme - Views

    Hi,

    Happy new year!
I have 2 xmas gifts and they are Rykiel Homme (Grey) & Guerlain Homme. Does anyone here have any of these and maybe share some experience?

Are they suitable for the Topics (where it is hot and humid ?) & also what type of occasion are they more suitable for?

    Causal? Romantic Setting?

    Day / Night time use???

Please drop any views / comments

    Cheers !

I've only tried Guerlain Homme and I think it suits most occasions, I wear it for work alot and it suits both warm weather and cold weather, it's very versatile!

Rykiel Grey? I have the regular Sonia Rykiel which comes in the purple box and I really like it, I think it's more of an evening fragrance personally.

The Guerlain homme on the other hand has sharply divided opinion on this forum with it being a kind of Marmite of fragrances you either love it or hate it.

I love it, I think it's a subtly but excellently crafted fragrance which stays close to the skin and lasts well. My only quibble with it is the price, it's too expensive.

Guerlain Homme is a day to evening, office and weekend kind of scent. The fact that it's so easy going perhaps makes it appear bland, personally, I think it's destined to become a new classic.

I've yet to try the Guerlain Homme. But I do have Rykiel Homme GREY. It's a nice fun scent, and IMO a bit on a romantic side. It reminds me of Escada scents like Sentiment and Sunset Heat.
