    Default Le Male Flanker Thread

Le Male, one of the most successful fragrance launch in recent history. European night clubs reeked of this jus thanks to adolescent males dousing themselves in entire bottles. The trend transferred across the oceans to the United States where it competed heavily with Miyake's L'Eau d'Issey and Abercrombie Fierce. At least it signified the unseating of Drakkar Noir as the national anthem of the tasteless. Okay, that was harsh, but if you ever partied the night away in any college town circa 10 years ago, it was really that bad.

So here are the flankers of the headless male with the stripped torso:

    1. Le Male
    2. Fleur du Male
    3. La Cologne Fleur du Male
    4. Le Male Summer Stimulating Fragrance (several summer launches with unique print on the bottle)
    5. Le Male Terrible (EdT Extreme)
    6. Le Male Jean Paul Cool
    7. Le Beau Male

Please share your knowledge of these.
    Keep Smelling Good

Have #1, 2, 5, & 7, and of all four I have, of course I prefer the original

    1. Great stuff, forget the usual pretentious snobbery on here. It sells for a reason.
    2. Reminded me of Hammam Bouquet. Nothing at all like the original, but a very nice masculine rose.

    The rest?

No idea but I'm not averse to trying a few.

I had the original in 99/2000 but got over it. I like Fleur du Male and have that in my collection.

Only have the original Man in a Can. Like the scent but hate the bottle. Have never had the desire to check out the others.
