Question boucheron jaipur or bulgari black?

going to be buying one of these fragrances in the next week or so and was wondering which one of these is the best-in terms of longevity and sillage.i have heard that bulgari black has an obvious "rubber tyre" note in it.i have never tried any fragrances from these houses before and i am going to give one of them a try.any advice would be warmly welcome.cheers.

I have a good idea: try them both, wait one day, buy one.

Why would you want longevity and sillage from a fragrance you don't like?

Men, this is like choosing between Mc Donalds (Bvlgari) and a 5 star top restaurant (Jaipur). And I love fastfood.

    Jaipur all the way..

Jaipur will exceed BB in longevity and sillage. On the other hand BB has good longevity and sillage.

IMO there is only one of the three that tops the list and that is Jaipur.

Wow these are not much alike at all are they? Both good but very different. Other than a distant conversation in passing with vanilla, Bulgari Black has little in common with Jaipur. Bulgari Black is all dry rubber and smoke with a hint of vanilla background to separate it from asphalt. While Jaipur Homme on the other hand, is a soft, sensitive, incense of vanilla fragrance.

I sure like the "try them one day and decide the next" suggestion.

Jaipur, no question, but the EdT. The EdP is way too subtle and sweet to my taste.

I prefer Jaipur Homme, but also I think it is more classic than Bulgari Black. Black has an artificial chemical sweetness that puts my teeth on edge. Jaipur Homme has much more of a mellow sweetness from benzoin and vanilla in the drydown.

I would choose Jaipur, rather than Bulgari black.

    No contest in my mind!

Jaipur is a classic. Bulgari Black, not so much.

Oh for crying out loud, just buy Bulgari Black. It's edgy, it's sweet and people will go 'wtf are you wearing??'

    Yay!

I would also suggest Jaipur, but be careful as it's quite sweet. Not so much for me, but others who dislike sweetness can be put off by this juice.

Jaipur homme edp is VERY floral. A heliotrope festival. But it lasts and lasts.

Bulgari Black only has moderate longevity and sillage on my skin.

I like sweet fragrances, but sometimes i think jaipur is too much.. I got it, but don`t use it very often enymore. It`s a very elegant fragrance indeed, but i wish it could be toned down a bit. I get some hair balsam/shampoo feeling when smelling it..But it has a very good longevity and sillage! -Throw of the dice: 4.

I own and wear both Boucheron Jaipur Homme and Bulgari Black. They are both really superb fragrances. One of my favorites perfumers, Annick Menardo, is the creator of both Boucheron Jaipur Homme and Bulgari Black. I don't think you should deprive yourself of either of these. Buy them both!
