Default Fragrances by Family - What does your Wardrobe look like?

Michael Edwards' classifies all fragrances into one of 14 fragrance families. He depicts these families on a Fragrance Wheel.

I have been wondering how typical/atypical my wardrobe is compared to others.

Starting with the family at the center of the Fragrance Wheel and then proceeding clockwise from the top, this is how my collection breaks down by family:

    20.5% Aromatic (Fougere)
    5.0% Soft Oriental (Amber)
    4.1% Oriental
    21.1% Woody Oriental
    9.5% Woods
    7.1% Mossy Woods (Chypre)
    22.6% Dry Woods (Leather/Tobacco)
    7.4% Citrus
    0.0% Fruity
    0.6% Green
    0.6% Water
    0.6% Floral
    0.9% Soft Floral
    0.0% Floral Oriental

What does your wardrobe look like?
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

I didn't have time to do the math, but lets put it like this: A walk through the woods to an amber pavilion, wouldn't be too far from accurate.

TwoRoads that's too much math required and I never liked homework :-)

    But here goes:

    10 - Oriental
    11 - Aromatic Fougeres
    5 - Citrus
    4 - Woods
    2 - Floral

The rest are yet to be classified...

Sorry mate, best I could do

I left a few out of the count (like Demeters... too hard to define what dirt qualifies as ) and I'm sure I classified some incorrectly, but I'm happy to see I at least have one in each category. Here's my breakdown by type - number I have - percentage:

    Soft Oriental - 12 - 14.3%
    Oriental - 11 - 13.1%
    Woody Oriental - 10 - 11.9%
    Dry Woods - 6 - 10.7%
    Water - 6 - 10.7%
    Aromatic Fougere - 8 - 9.5%
    Woods - 7 - 8.3%
    Floral Oriental - 7 - 8.3%
    Green - 7 - 8.3%
    Mossy Woods - 3 - 3.6%
    Citrus - 3 - 3.6%
    Fruity - 3 - 3.6%
    Soft Floral - 2 - 2.4%
    Floral - 1 - 1.2%

I'd post how I classified what, but I'd imagine there would be a lot of differing opinions on how certain ones fall.

    40% Citrus
    25% Aromatic
    15% Green
5% floral oriental (Neroli, Neroli, Neroli)
    5% Floral (Violet Leaf, Geranium)
    5% Woody oriental (Sandalwood)
    2.5% Woods (Vetiver)
    2.5% Mossy Woods (Oakmoss)
After trying nearly every designer/niche scent, in every family/type, my entire wardrobe is small, and looks like:

Violet Blossom & Leaf, "heartland lime sherbet" variety:

Dullah - why would you post that massive photo? Can you make it smaller or perhaps post it in your albums and link to it? That would be appreciated.

I'm going to guesstimate for now, but later on I'll take the time to figure out exactly what fits into which category from my wardrobe. I'm curious how correct I'll be compared to my guess.

    Aromatic (Fougere) - 6%
    Soft Oriental (Amber) - 4%
    Oriental - 12%
    Woody Oriental - 6%
    Woods - 5%
    Mossy Woods (Chypre) - 15%
    Dry Woods (Leather/Tobacco) - 23%
    Citrus - 14%
    Fruity - 3%
    Green - 2%
    Water - 0%
    Floral - 6%
    Soft Floral - 2%
    Floral Oriental - 2%
