There are many old and cheap ones too. I think it's more about marketing. Luxury brands would rather discontinue a fragrance than empty their stocks at lower prices, as that would make the people who bought 200$ products lose that feeling of exclusivity. And other ones at mid-range prices (50$-70$) could see their reputation hurt if some of their fragrances sold for 10$ at pharmacies.
