Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

Managed to get up early without feeling like I'd been hit by a truck (my usual early morning state), put in 20 minutes on the elliptical machine at the gym, back home, said hi to the bunnies, showered and am now off to work... Yikes! I feel so... industrious. Maybe I should go back to bed.
Yesterday's visit with SMM was wonderful, lots of cross-testing of various fun fragrances, and dear ScentSon reminded me of one that's been on my wish list for years, but I just can't manage to get over the price...
My SoTD is Josef Statkus Eau de Parfum. A gorgeous, papery white smoke incense, with sweet floral (not head shop) patchouli and an extremely light camphor note (also probably from the patchouli) in there that keeps it from being completely classically beautiful, but also makes it infinitely more intersting, in my opinion. Even though jasmine is listed first in the notes, I do not get any of the waxy browned flowers many jasmines bring up on my skin. Lovely.
Josef Statkus notes: Jasmine, patchouli, coriander, incense, amber, cashmere wood, vanilla, benzoin, musk.
Marvelous Monday to all!
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson
