Your inhibitions are right, at least I think so. Lacoste Style in Play is catchy and sweet and fun, but too loud and invasive for me. Much better suited for a guy in his teens or twenties... early twenties.
    Lately I've been wearing:
Windsor, Bois de Santal, Original Santal, Elixir, Douro, Endymion, Reflection, Arcus, Marwah

i just love this one ! right mix of boozy apple notes and cedar..pretty lively.

more than the age..i think it has to do with your personality ... our oldest member here is Dimitri..i think he is 60 now (kidding!!) i dont see a reason why this one shudnt suit him.

this stuff right here is marvelous! my signature scent now. esp for spring/summer.
    getting compliments left and right.

its brings me back to elementary school in the near summer for some reason.. mightve been a point in time when my teacher used to wear something similar in womens fragrance.. but yea, good times, and makes me feel joyous.

IMO a 38 year old could definitely pull this off.

I think this one smells great! Love the dry down, it's simple-just woody and fresh on my skin. And despite what I've read saying otherwise, I really don't find this one to be age specific. Go ahead and rock it..

If only lasted more than 5 hours on skin it`d be a cooler frag for hot days. It`s distinct, I never tried a fragrance with that bitter apple accord on the camphor-mint refreshing aroma that is a bit similar to gelol`s aroma. But you have to spray a lot to make it last average. I don`t understand what happens to lacoste frags, they don`t last on me.

Red Style In Play is a more youthful and playful fragrance imo. It reeks of synthetic apples and candy like sweetness. I do enjoy it though

Its one of the worst "fragrances" ever made IMO. At least to my nose it is.
    Utter crap! Absolutely vile!
