My favorite aftershave-inspired scent would be Bath and Body Works Mountain Frost, now discontinued. Super super clean and cooling, and there are times when I crave that kind of thing. At $24 for a big 4 oz. bottle it was hard to go wrong.

If you want to step into designer aftershaves, then I recommend starting here
    (http://www.fragrancex.com/products/_...e_by_type.html)
find one that might appeal to you without too much searching, maybe pick one that comes as "unboxed" for a discounted price (its what I do) and you can get into new designer aftershave for around $20-$30.
