Default The Only Scents I've Ever Been Complimented On

I need to get this out there, for posterity's sake:

The only two scents I've ever, EVER been complimented on are:

    1. Bod Man, Really Ripped Abs (body spray)

    and

    2. Gillette, Cool Wave (aftershave)

    Thank you,
    I feel better now.

Maybe these fancy schmancy high-end super-expensive niche and designer scents don't project like they should. :P

In my experience #of compliments is inversely proportional to price (with a few exceptions).

So, if you (generic 'you') are spending big bucks trying to impress people, you are seriously wasting money. Get shiny toys, a car, drop some weight*, get nice clothes**.

*It is ridiculous how much praise I got last year when I dropped 30 pounds. Recognition is OK, but I have done much more important and harder things that have passed noticed. Shallow people .~~
** My 3 fedora hats have gotten more compliments than my entire fragrance wardrobe.

Well, in the case of the second one, I can fully understand, since Gillette Cool Wave might not be a designer fragrance and might not be too long-lasting either, but it's clean, manly, slightly chypre, and if it were not for the affordable price (paradoxically deterring many posh and snobbish fragrance buyers) and if it would last longer, it would pull off a good show, almost certainly putting quite a few more expensive scents to shame.
