Default Help! Agent Provocateurs "Strip" reminds me of something...

I really need help with this! Yesterday I tried Agent Provocateurs "Strip" at the department store. Since I sprayed it on until this morning, when the last notes faded away, I can't stop wondering what it reminds me of. It's really bugging me. It's a smell that I felt a lot when I was a small child. It could be a perfume my mother or grandmother was wearing, but the smell was "childish" (or maybe I just thought so since it reminded me of childhood years).

Anyone that knows if it could be a fragrance, which was popular in the late eightees/early ninetees? Any other suggestion? I didn't really enjoy the smell, but I'm definitely going to try it out again just to figure out what it reminds me of.

Don't know of another perfume that might smell similar from the past, but an SA told me that the dominant - and very distinctive - note in Strip is geranium, if that helps at all.

There is a lot of amber in Strip.

Some people (not me, thank goodness) detect amber as smelling like Play-Doh. Could that be it?

It could, actually, be play-doh. I haven't been able to go online and check your answers until now, but now, I'm definitely going to try it a third time and compare it to play-doh, if I find any play-doh... Thanks for clearing up my mind, even though I didn't expect the significant smell to be play-doh . but it actually makes sense...

You're welcome - good luck deciphering it.

lol, I need to try Strip immediately! It's like they made a Demeter scent without even realizing it.

When I smelled DKNY Be Delicious Red I on a girl at work I accidently mistook it for Agent
Provocateur Strip. That doesn't even come close to answer your question, but I thought I'd
    mention it here anyway.
