Montale White Aoud
The Montale Aoud line is hit or miss for me, and this is one of my faves. Yes, it's one of the lightest, but the transition from oud to amber thrills me every time I experience it. Great stuff.

Sous le Vent by Guerlain with a dab of Bolt of Lightning by JAR
This smells divine, if you're familiar with BOL. The Sous le Vent ads a nice dose of oak moss taking some of the BOL's sharpness away.

I'm fixin' to go get my hair cut - the SOTE shall be Tom Ford Italian Cypress plus some smears of Narciso Rodriguez Musc for Him just to keep me on my toes
Cologne A La Russe by Institut Tres Bien (first time from my full bottle)

Congratulations Mike and Ray!!
I have a milestone of my own, except that I really don't have a day to celebrate this year. I started dating my husband 17 years ago on February 29 and we have been married now 13 years on February 29.

Anyway, I'm giving a second test to Creed Love In Black, to determine full-bottle-worthiness.
I think I'll have to go for it.
This is just such an interesting frag. It's like two scents in one - It lets off a lovely cloud of roses and fern that sort of hovers around me but that I can't smell on my skin, while there's also a completely different skin scent that I only detect smelling my arms up close. The skin scent is the exact opposite of the rose/fern - it starts off with an interesting light musk (it seems to be the same mushroom-smelling musk in Malle's Dans Te Bras but much lighter) that fades to wood. Sort of a dank, mushroomy forest-floor aroma (wow - that sounds terrible, but it's quite nice).
I think I'll grab this one while Neimans is having their gift-bag giveaway this week...

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ......
