Default Lone wolf frags with no peer

I'm referring to juice that nothing else smells remotely similar. Most frags have relatives with accords in common in their repective genres.

I have only come across 2 fragrances that have absolutley no peer that I know of.

Success by MCM is one like. A weird fragrance with prominent honey and is unique.

Hascish Homme by Veejaga. I find this horrendous with a touch of hideousness and I thank God that it's peerless.

Anyone else come across solitary colognes like this?

The most unique I have come across yet is definitely L'Anarchiste.

Hermessence Vetiver Tonka is unique in how it combines the vetiver and tonka

    Yatagan yet again. (lol)

Doesn't really smell like anything else out there.

I'll second Yatagan and probably second Knize Ten too.

I know there are frags which some say are "like" K10 but nothing, absolutely NOTHING can compare to its dry down.

I haven´t smelled anything like Bandit yet, it´s either too much leather or too much chypre in other perfumes. Bandit strikes the perfect balance. I´ll continue to go on sniffing though
But once you get locked into a serious perfume collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

Versailles is definitely unique. I love that juice.

Encre Noir has a unique openning, especially for a non-niche fragrance, that unfortunately settles into a vetiver base.
Nostalgia is a unique leather. Actually it is a leather car interior!
Aoud Cuir d' Arabie stands on the opposite side of the leather scale. A leather at the early stages of treatment, very animalic. The Montale aoud base brings it closer to the other scents of the house though.
Route du Vetiver (vintage only) is the most unique vetiver and a unique scent. The closest thing to the smell of the roots of a plant being pulled off the damp earth.

I haven't come across another one that smells like Egoiste.

I think Absinth - Nasomatto is extremely unique and teeters in the vetiver gourmand territory. Vetiver gourmand? See, that is unique.

Just a couple I could think of that are lone wolves.. or at least were in my wardrobe at the time of purchase.

Yatagan and L'Anarchiste, I think, Voleur de Roses too, Bandit is a good call, and Diptyque's Ofresia. Those are the ones that come to me right now. Good question.

    Profumum ~ Thundra
    LV ~ Yerbamate
    PG ~ Aomassai
    SMN ~ Peau d'Espagne

Well, I guess there are degrees on uniqueness (paradoxical, I know) because Rose PH by Rosine is somewhat similar to 88 (far from having the same quality, but similar). Months ago, I smelled a lot of similarities between mitsouko EDP and aceir aluminum.
Egoiste has Opium and Third Man caron and... there was another cinammon, woods vanilla fragrance.
They are not identical, But I do not think they are that alone either.

Now, say what you want, but I have never smelled anything similar to Old Spice. There are bay rums out there, but nothing that comes close. Havana, and Montana Vintage are remotely related, but not enough.
Shameless Plug: Sales thread with Roses Musk, Rose Poivree, and others.
Looking for lot of samples of female fragrances.

In the non-niche world, Ferrari Passion seems pretty unique: pine and honey.

So.. I've been watching this thread this day. Niche are definently more original and unique I noticed. They do what their niche name titles them, didn't think it was actually that way.
    unico grande amore.

Does that smell like it's namesake?

Where is the Veejaga line from? India? I'm guessing...

Not sure about India. This fragrance ( if you can call it that ) smells like industrial varnish.

    Yatagan (again)
    Or Black
Sécrétions Magnifiques (thank god for small favors)
    Bois Farine
    Tubéreuse Criminelle

Perhaps Idole, Eau d'Hermès, En Passant, and Chêne as well.

I thought Hermes went there already with the aformentioned Vetiver Tonka?

I second Dzing! and would like to think of Dior Homme as unique.
