Default CHANEL ALLURE HOMME. Formal enough?

I have it in my collection but i don`t use it very often. But when i do, i always think..hmm, this is actualy quite nice! It`s warm and spicy, but i`m not sure if it`s formal and elegant enough for a coctail-party, an evening at the opera, a formal dinner etc.. I think maby it`s best for casual use with jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers, Not for suit and tie.
    What`s your opinion?

No, not really. Not the best formal scent to wear, but I think you can pull it off.

Its a casual fragrance. I would not wear it with a suit and tie. But then again what do I know?

FWIW I believe people are confusing versatile with casual. Allure Homme is an appropriate fragrance to wear on a formal occasion.

It's strength is its versatility. This is the only fragrance I will use all year round and pretty much on any occasion. My job requires a very strict dress code, and Allure Homme always compliments this very formal outfit.

Absolutely yes ... and I say this because i think it actually gets more "formal" and "sophisticated" hours later towards the drydown. ... So yes very versatile ... starting out pretty casual ...then deepening and becoming more formal towards the end. ...
Will suit any occasion. One of the main reasons I'm so attached to it !

Do you feel comfortable wearing it to formal occassions? That is where the answer lies.
