Default Can you help me ID this scent

On my way back home i noticed a person 2 seats next to me wearing some nice aftershave or perfume.

It comes across as being mature, classy but in a casual sense. I can picture a 35+ sporty male with an Aston or Jag wearing this frag. To my nose it smells like a dirty musk with mint & moss.
The colour that comes to mind is green. It does slightly remind me of Kielhls Original Musk but only the drydown with heaps of mint & moss. It is masculine but not like your 70's or 80's in your face masculine.
It also reminds me of the scented paper in drawers with dust etc

Could it perhaps have been Kiehl's Forest Rain?
Fresh but woodsy: muguet, vetiver, citrus and musk. I was impressed by this, and the musk note is clearly drawn from the Kiehl's original.

I wonder if it was appropriately-applied L'Anarchiste? After it develops around me, it has the minty/musky elegance you describe. It is also greenly stuffy/soft, although on me more powdery than mossy. But this could be a difference in chemistry/perception. L'A will get wicked if over-applied, which is easy to do (it's reminiscent of the big 80s era), but I find that two wide-coverage sprays makes big magic.
Eddie: Sweetie, what are you drinking?
Patsy: Oh, this? Chanel No. 5.

Nothing like L'Anarchist which i like and use regularly. The one im refering to has an old dusty musk smell with heaps of green mint notes.

Grain De Plaisir has a mint like note and mossy (oakmoss) notes in the drydown. It's not necessarily a dirty musk smell but it does have a bit of a dirty green/moss quality.

It might have been Olivier Durbano's Jade.

My first thought too. But then whatever it was would have been "blended" with the average day's body moisture and secretions, as well as other environmental whatevers.

Even informed guessing cannot be an "exact science".
