Concentree D' Orange Verte by Hermes
Feuille Verte by Creed
Lime Tonic by Malin + Goetz
I get a strong lime opening in Erolfa but I can't call it a lime dominant scent. I'd say the same about Mugler Cologne.
Stardust is the only scent I've sampled where I get a long lasting lime note.

I have only tried two--Guerlain Imperiale and Royall Lyme. They both were good, the Guerlain being better, I think. But neither is my style.
Crabtree & Evelyn West Indian Lime. Better longevity than the Trumper.

Penhaligon's Extract of Limes. Especially with the new special edition packaging. I know, I know, packaging has nothing to do with it. Great juice regardless of how it is wrapped. No soapy leg up to ensure a clean accord. Instead, it is crisp, fresh and slightly floral with a very mild -nearly undetectable -hint of pepper for a more unique, refined feel.

One of the truly great lime fragrances - and fragrance in general, is Rochas Moustache. It was waaaaay ahead of its time. Check it out and you'll see what I mean.
The lime adds to the salty quality in the opening of Erolfa, as far as I can tell (smells more like the steam distilled than cold pressed variety of lime oil) but is quickly joined by the tangerines and a trace of a smooth lemon note (which I believe is some real lemon myrtle oil, which is far more lemony than actual lemon oil. I believe this is present in small quantities [anything more would be overwhelming, this stuff is *strong*] in many of the Creed Millesime openings. Perhaps most noticeable in GIT).

I should add that I didn't spray on the Erolfa and was instead dabbing it on from a vial. Just sniffing the vial, even with cap on, gave me a distinctly limey-aroma.
Sadly, I've kind of forgotten all of the nuances of Erolfa's opening as the vial has been empty for awhile. At the time I was trying to recreate it naturally, and hence why I was really breaking it down into what I (thought I) smelled.
I need to pick up a bottle but my fragrance budget is in conflict with my musical gear budget and the latter is going to win out for awhile.![]()

Never posted a pic in a thread before. I'll try...It's showing as an attachment.
The T&H and Penhaligon's are actually pretty similar in basic feel. both have mild spicy quality that warms them a bit. What puts Penhaligon's over the line IMHO are:
1) more longevity
2) Not as sharp an opening=feels better blended
3) Not as sweet, again, feels better blended.
T&H is a bit more of an aggressive starter with a shorter life span.
But, again, I find they convey a similar fragrance emotion.

Does Versace Baby Blue Jeans qualify? That wins by default. I don't recall testing others with this criteria.
Rectoverso Man:Blue Atoll is the limiest scent I have.

I'm not saying these are soliflors but I'd like to add Eau d'Cartier Concentree (I've not tried the original version), Escentric Molecules Escentric 01, and Creed Virgin Island Water.![]()

In a world where people smell bad, it is the personal responsibility of every Basenoter to improve the world one SotD at a time...
Virgin Island Water, Set Sail St. Barts & Guerlain Homme. I like my lime to be slightly boozy!

Has anyone tried the CdG Lime EdT (series 8)?
Truefitt & Hill.
Creed VIW.
Of course, I like lime in a lot of frags, but in the two above it stands out.
M7 Fresh has that lime note in it's opening that reminds me alot of Fruit Loops!
^Thanks Mike, I was scoping that one.
*relieved*
Can't wait to sample stardust, moustache, and Penhaligons'
Any more?
Truefitt & Hill: button-down lime
Penhaligons: skip in the park lime
Crown Perfumery Spiced Lime: right between the eyes hot lime
M7Fresh: cheap lime candy
Philosophy The Fragrance is quite good. I like it a lot and it's quite inexpensive.
Royall Lyme
Amazing duration on me and has a bit of complexity.
Green Water is also quite nice but dies way too quick.
In rotation: Greenbriar (new), Silver Mountain Water, Dunhill for Men (1934), Acqua di Parma Colonia, Habit Rouge EDC, Ho Hang, B*Men, Agua Brava
