    Default Scent for golf?

I am an avid golfer, as you may have guessed from my screen name. I normally don't wear any fragrance when I play golf, but lately I've been thinking about what may be suitable for wearing for sports (specifically golf).

    Thoughts?

Beene's Bowling Green? Acqua Di Parma? Something clean, starchy, fresh as the air around you?

Something with vetiver in it. Original Vetiver by Creed or Vétiver Extraordinaire by Frederic Malle.

I am an avid golfer as well and watching The Masters as I type this.

I usually wear CDG-Vettiverru, Allure Homme Sport Cologne Sport, or Original Vetiver - Creed

Exactly. This is sporty, green, and overall a better match to the golf course than Original Vetiver. The name alone conjures up images of Par 4.

I love golf too! I don't have a specific scent, but I like wearing heavier stuff when I golf so I get a good whiff every time I tee off.

Too Funny! I actually like the way the couple of Lacoste scents smell that I've tested. I've just been scared off of purchasing by the general lack of longevity.

Not much of a golf player, but I heartily recommend Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren.

    Nice clean, oudoors fragrance.

FragranceX has a sample vial of Bobby Jones for about $3. I'm going to have to order it. Thanks for all the suggestions. This has been an interesting thread. It along with Allure Homme Sport and Mugler (which I'm already trying to find a tester of) are the only ones that may be in my budget at some point. As much as I'd love to try the Creeds, I just can't right now.

Lacoste Essentials and Bvlgari Extreme. Both remind me of being on the green.

For me, the scents I always associate with golf are Creeds. Since I moved to Augusta, I have been blessed to attend the Masters for the past 5 years. I almost always wear one of these three to Augusta National: GIT, SMW or MI (one I no longer have any more).

I don't go to every round. This year, I took my son on Thursday and I went solo to two practice rounds.
One of my docs was kind enough to let me use his tickets for Thursday.
Current faves: Aventus, ADG Essenza, MFK Masculin Pluriel, Creed Royal Mayfair, TDH Parfum, Tom Ford Italian Cypress

Booster by Lacoste. Most of the Lacoste fragrances for men suck, but this one is brilliant. You must like mint though.

VE and Guerlain Vetiver get my vote as well

Paul Smith Story would also work quite magnificently!
