Monday I wore two "strong women" scents: Histoires de Parfums 1804 - George Sand on one side (thanks to a mystery gifter - Chaya?) and Creed Jasmin Imperatrice Eugenie on the other. Fun! The 1804 was too fruity for me at the start (though for fruit notes, these were pretty nice on me), with very nice mid-notes and drydown -- I found it lovely but not inspiring to wear. That said, I'll be trying it some more... The Jasmin Imperatrice Eugenie is a continually pleasant surprise to me... One of the few jasmine-based scents that I adore from start to finish.
Yesterday I went naked , and today I'm back in Creed Jasmin Imperatrice Eugenie for a full wearing.
1804 - George Sand notes: Peach, apricot, pineapple and banana; spices, jasmine, lily of the valley, rose and lilac; sandalwood, patchouli, benzoi, vanilla, white musk.
Jasmin Imperatrice Eugenie notes: Citrus, Italian jasmine, Bulgarian rose, sandalwood, vanilla.
