Overheard on the subway:
"They should call you lilac?"
Why?
"Cause you lilac hell!"
2) Alfie with Jude Law - 2 minutes in.
Does anyone remember this Clint scene that includes a fragrance reference?? CLASSIC! The barbershop part of it starts just about 2:10 min. into the clip.

I guess the drifter -- we find out later his name is Jim Duncan -- no relation! ;-) --- would not have been a Basenotes fan. Then again, if you were thinkin' you needed to gun down some liquored up bullies.....you might wait for the Eau du Lilac.
The other guy doesn't like the "shit in the bottle" either! HA!
Two questions for ya'll:
1. What are some lilac-scented frags designed for men?
2. What other movie links can you share that have frag references?
Thanks!

I am DEFINITELY going to use that line at my next family reunion! HA!
Duncan, you really owe it to yourself to try Frederic Malle En Passant if you haven't already. It is categorized as unisex, and its lilac heaven! I really love it, but can definitely understand someone that may not be keen on wearing florals having difficulty with it.

Adonis! Impressive. An entire movie.
The guy on the cover of the DVD looks like the head of the Slitherin group at Hogwarts. Pretty sure it's him.
It's a weird flick - pretty entertaining, and there's a scene below that many BNers might relate to (in a way).

Miller et Bertaux #1(for you) has a lilac theme going on a fruity cedarwood base: not particularly masculine nor feminite so it can work both ways. it's my sotd btw.

While not necessarily for men, I find that Aqua Allegoria Lilia Bella by Guerlain is one of the best Lilac scents around. Honestly, I wear it alot and it never, EVER fails to draw attention from the ladies. I am very condident that ANY guy could wear it with the same result (the Aqua Allegoria line is considered unisex by most standards and this one is no exeption).
If you can find it, give it a try.
I love Jasmine.
