Default Idole and 2 Man alternatives

Ok, I love Idole's spicy/rum/booze concoction, but it can be short lived on me and become more of a skin scent. Costes is a bit less loud than Idole and goes soapy somewhat and is even shorter lived. Any alternative for this?

2Man, I sorta like it and regret selling that bottle. Wondering how it works in summer? I have read that Gucci Pour Homme is like it, but I get more pencil shavings from the GPH than the 2 Man, and 2Man gives me more of that white smoke, and that is an apt description. Any similar scent around?

I also throw Fresh Cannabis Santal. Tonight, I sniffed it from a sample atomizer from Sephora and that topnote against the chocolate background was intriquing. Makes me want to add it into the mix

Of the Idole, Cannabis and 2Man, which one is more year round or more summery? If my lineup is GIT, MI, Fumerie Turque, LDDM, Burberry Brit for Winter and Montale Red Vetyver, which one of those do you say I need,

I felt that Idol had the same drydown as John Varvatos.
As for 2 Man you can try LeLabo vetiver or Avignon.

I haven't yet experienced anything similar to Idole, but I agree it can be shortlived.

Try Encre Noire as a similar frag to cdg 2 man - not smoky but a lovely woodsy-vetiver.

2man reminds me a lot of Frank # 2 , with Frank being a little lighter and cleaner.

Try YSL Nu, Donna Karan Black Cashmere or Chaos as alternatives to Idole.

For 2 Man: Vetiver 46 Le Labo, it's stunning.

What about white aoud? could that serve as an Idole replacement?

white smoke? The Different Company un Parfums des Sens et Bois. this one is too good...it keeps a very low profile on BN...just a matter of time that more and more people sample it to discover it's genius.

I haven't tried Idole (been meaning to for quite some time!) but I smell a lot of similarities between CdG Man2 and Lalique Encre Noir. These both share a very similar "earhty/dry" vetiver note. I would definitely give that a try.

Couldn't agree more. The drydown of EN is very similar to Man2.
