Umm, fewer sprays?
Thread: Kouros in hot & humid weather |
Sorry for creating another Kouros thread. I've got Kouros recently but haven't really worn it outside. Plan to give a try tomorrow. I'd really appreciate suggestions on the best way to apply it for outdoor activities in a hot (30 C/86 F) and humid environment without offending others.
Umm, fewer sprays?
Maybe spray to the air and walk through may work
Yes, fewer sprays and in areas of your body where it can't mix too much with sweat. So I recommend wearing a little bit on your neck or wrists NOT on your chest. The civet can turn in hot and humid weather.
That being said, sometimes I like to try musk-heavy scents in warmer weather precisely for that dirty effect. Try it in private. You might find it very enjoyable and sexy.
Fewer sprays, but you can apply to your usual body-spots.
I live in a humid tropical (29-34C) climate and use Kouros pretty inoffensively (i guess). If anything, spraying on skin and covering with clothes reduces the diffusion. Spraying directly on fabric with the imprecise walk-through method will retain a lot more of the scent than you may really want, since most fabrics keep the scent fresher longer than on skin.
ointments and perfume delight the heart....
#BBOG!
Kouros is a potent scent so go easy on the spray. I must also add that Kouros is great to wear in a hot, humid country like yours and mine.
Take it easy on the sprays - no more than six or seven.
I find Kouros to be a bit of a dud in cold weather, and only really like it in hot weather.

I thought that hot & humid weather was in fact, Kouros time?

When I wear Kouros in hot weather, I always wear it sparingly and put it on immediately after I take a shower when my skin is still damp. If you do this, your pores are still open, and will absorb the fragrance better. I find that fragrances blend into my skin much better and don't smell like they're just sitting on top of my skin, which is what happens when I spray it on when my skin is dry. You definitely don't want that effect when you're wearing Kouros in hot weather, unless you want to suffocate those around you.
