Thread: You must choose ONE!
You are exiled from your homeland to a place, although identical to you current life, is entirely devoid of any cologne. You are, however, and for reasons not entirely clear, allowed to take ONE bottle from your collection or otherwise, with you to this strange and frightening place. For the sake of the things, we will say that bottle is infinitely filled.
Yes, you have entered, The Twilight Zone.
Doodoodoodooh. Which one is it going to be?
unico grande amore.
L'Air du Desert Marocain !
Damn, it's got to be Spirituese Double Vanille. I just re-discovered this in a big big way
PVC and Leather. A Chain and a feather
ooohh this again. I have to say I'd go with Erolfa. It's low sillage and simplicity results in it never being annoying or overplayed. Always makes me happy to smell like the sea.
Jovan Sex Appeal cuz there will certainly be needy women looking for a real G to take away their pain. And nothing says take your clothes off sweet mama like Sex Appeal.
Today - Annick Goutal Duel; no wait, YSL Opium p H; no,no, Terre d'Hermes; umm ...
Amouage Jubilation XXV.
Longivity isn't that great, but since you said we had infinite amounts of it
The critic has to educate the public; the artist has to educate the critic.
Ooh, Erolfa is a good choice. It's not quite satisfying enough in winter though, which means I'd have to go with something else.
Hmm. Prada Amber, perhaps? Well, it could become a bit cloying in the heat of summer. L'Anarchiste? No.. it's too strongly associated with fall in my mind. Antidote? I'm not sure why but no. Ungaro II is just too beautiful for everyday use. Although, if I could only have one scent, would I want to wear it everyday? That is what the choice comes down to for me - do I take my most pleasant everyday frag with the intent of wearing it frequently, or do I take the fragrance I find most beautiful and just wear it on special occasions.
I don't know which way I'd go in that decision until the moment came, but if I went with the former direction, I'd go with Versace PH. The latter would be Ungaro II.
I'm thinking Un Parfum des Sens et Bois may be the scent that best fits the middle of that spectrum.
This is too hard!
Too hard damn it!
Aqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta
Sent you PM. 2 actually. Oh and delete some of your inbox, it says you're full.
oh, and I tested out prada amber ph today, what is it that you like so much exactly?
I liked, but I don't think I "got it" yet. Will try again tomorrow perhaps...
As far as one scent...........
I just cannot decide. Which is why I made this topic, to torture everyone else into a decision!

Just cleared out my PMs. Will respond in a second here to yours .
Prada Amber? Hmm, it's got that barbershop/shave cream kind of thickness and texture, and then dries down to an incensey (lots of myrrh, smooth cardamom, and vanilla - along with at least one semi-unique musk "Nirvanolide" - wish I knew what that smell like on its own.)
I just think it is a perfectly blended fragrance and the transition from almost sweet and smooth in the top to a dryer, dustier incense base is amazing. One or two sprays of it is enough, anymore than that and it can get cloying.
Another thing I love about it is the way it straddles the clean/sexy line. It is definitely both clean and sexy, without seeming contrived, imo.
Aramis Havana without question!
Founder- Cosa Nosetra
This sounds more like Mission Impoossible than the twilight Zone.....I can never give an answer.
Dior Homme Intense edp and a bottle of Tuscan red!
Choose to believe, choose joy.
Scelga di credere, scelga la gioia.
Santal Noble... hoping it never gets too hot
At your service
Since we get an infinite amount, and because I love to bathe in this stuff anyway, I'm going to say Millesime Imperial, I'll spray it 3 times a day.
I am like a father asked to save only one of his children. No way. Kill them all! There is no way I can chose only one. I would leave them all behind but I would be feeling like betraying my dear Route du Vetiver original formulation, the first nich fragrance that I knew I had to have a bottle of. The one that got me hooked on perfume.
IMHO Spirituese Double Vanille , the most perfect fragrance I have yet discovered and never want to be without
I would take ETRO New Tradition.
No one else likes it here (at least not that I ever hear of) It’s probably the most versatile fragrance I own, combining all my favorite elements – lavender, rose, patchouli, subtle spices, and musk. Beautiful beautiful stuff.
“I wanna say something. I’m gonna put it out there. If you like it, you can take it, if you don’t, send it right back…."
Yohji homme. I'll be lost without it.
If I was allowed to bring something I don't own yet, it would be Vetiver Pour Elle easily. If it has to be something that I already own, then it would be Maitre Perfumeur et Gantier Garrigue.

Obsessions of the Moment- Kristiansand EDC, Green Irish Tweed, Zizan
Granted, we've known each other for some time. It don't take a whole day to recognize sunshine. ~ Common Sense
Muscs Khoublai Khan - Serge Lutens
ointments and perfume delight the heart....
Heritage - class in a bottle. I would also put a bottle of CKOne up a certain orifice in an attempt to sneak it in, just because it makes me happy anytime I wear it.
Infinitely Filled you say? Hmmm...then i shall choose Hermes Eau d'Orange Verte. Then i could reapply every 1 hour and not worry about finishing a bottle in 3 days.
I'm probably going to go with Red Vetyver by Montale. Out of my collection, it's probably the only scent that I love on me without hesitation in all weather and all situations
Id save my oldest son though, it had to be Coolwater if I was in that position.
It was my first fragrance and still stands out as one of my most beloved ones.
There are many occasions I cant decide on best suitable frangrance but I cant imagine a single one where Coolwater would feel out of place.
Acqua di Parma Colonia.
A.T. L'Air du Desert Marocain
Tell Hugo, he isnt boss anymore.
Acier Aluminum. Ambergris and vanilla in divine union.
L'Air du Desert Marocain for its versatility.
Easy answer: A cologne which never gets on your nerve. And that could be Guerlain
All or nothing!
But after it's all gone I'd still like my Eau Sauvage Fraicheur Cuir.
Le Labo Rose 31.
Caron- Parfum Sacre
Quand on boit l'eau, il faut penser à sa source
Millesime Imperial. Makes me feel good when ever I wear it.
I will feel rich even though ill probably be broke as a log
Off-Site Decants =) (updated 05/16/12)
An unending bottle? Then it has to be Henri IV Dudognon Heritage Cognac Grande Champagne. Not a fragrance, you say? With an unending bottle, I'd use it as fragrance if I had to just to qualify.
I don't drink, but without fragrances, who knows?
To be serious, Polo, the original. I don't wear it very often, but if I was the only person on earth wearing a fragrance, I would probably wear it a lot more since it wouldn't be perceived as some sort of cliche or time capsule.
I'll be the first to say Guerlain Vetiver straight up.
That girl, that bottle, that mattress and me.
Is t his a new version of torture?
Crown Marechale original
Vintage Mitsouko parfum
Aqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta
but then again...
Help me, I'm stuck in a feedback loop!
Don a wig of larks and fly!
From a real house a scent that I actually have: AdP Colonia Assoluta.
From an imaginery house a scent I'll never have: Clive Christian No 1.
Today it would be Sequoia, but next week might be White Auod.
Well seeing as we are talking about an infinite bottle that would be CdG Monocle Scent One Hinoki.
If it was "one full bottle and you must ration" then it would be a 34oz (1000ml) Creed MI

YSL Opium pour homme EDT.....that on full moons becomes Opium pour homme EDP.
If I have to pick ONE, I can quickly and happily say that it would be:
Support your local Leonberger rescue.
Anyway to answer the question: I'm going to choose Ambre Sultan, but it'd be really hard to leave Declaration and Rose 31 behind!
