Chêne by Serge Lutens, like many others from this house, is excessively long lasting on my skin. I can smell it when I sniff my wrist after shower.

Sécrétions Magnifiques (Etat Libre d'Orange). You simply cannot wash this off completely. The smell of old hospital bandages stayed around for days, to the point where I got used to it and started thinking of maybe buying a bottle.

Joop Homme - in any race off against other scents, it's no contest.

Even the much weaker Joop Homme After Shave splash outlasts most other scents.

From what I tested untill now the one who stayed longer on me, unfortunately, its a EDT which I don't really like Joop! - Joop! Homme. It stayed on me for days, I couldn't wash it off. I need to try it again to convince myself that it stayed on the skin and not in my head ... ... and maybe I will begin to like it. Unfortunately and I'm saying that only because its discontinued and I just have a sample the second its one of my favourites Aramis - Havana.

Bond No 9 Wall Street and Joop Jump both seem excellent and also I find Tom Ford's Extreme to have marathon staying power.

I recently realised that this is the king of longevity. I smell it on my wrists days after wearing (and yes of course I shower ) and it has the ability to disappear and then pop up again unexplicably. It also stays on the clothes and then rubs off from the clothes back to the skin. Of course it is one of the most difficult to wear fragrances but I love it.

Vetiver Oriental and Borneo 1834 also have a very long lasting but discrete trace on the skin.

Royal Aoud has a fantastic presence on the skin that someone described in anaother thread as "aoud hang-over". Lovely stuff.

It wasn't in your head, it was really on you. I've had the aftershave splash of Joop Homme surviving some 14 hours on my wrist after several hours including swimming, and having several spas and saunas and a shower. Most other scents have difficulty lasting a quarter of an hour in those conditions.

I recollect that Scentimus pointed out here many years ago that Joop Homme lasted longest because it was made from a different process than that used to make all other scents.

These scents can survive showers if applied on skin. And can last through washes if accidentaly sprayed on shirts!

I'll third this one. My god, does it last long. I like longevity, but I am not too fond of this scent. I tried to like it and want to like it, but I cannot ! Someone said there was cherry tobacco in it, maybe the entire accord brings out that scent, but I do not get it.

Noir Epices & Coromandel have both surprised me . . . not showy, sort of understated really, but still comfortably present and accounted for 12 hours later.
