    seen as how my girlfriend thinks I spend more time on bn than with her I would emphatically say it is has been a major influence in my life over the last eight months... luckily she totally accepts it as she gets to wear innumerable amazing scents due to the fragrance buying spree i've been on since joining

    I would say yes, but the recent reformulation introduced changes that compare unfavorably with the original version.

    I guess the masterpiece status comes mainly from the fact that one finds all information in one place, without being forced to browse tons of disparate sites, just in hope to find something about the favorite fragrance.

    Basenotes is a work in progress; I always think of something complete when I think of a masterpiece. A finished product.

    But the idea for this site is genious. There is some good content and some less good content due to the wide variety of contributions and personal preferences. Which is a great thing, really.
    So yes, in my mind, the overall product is a masterpiece.

    Awesome and inspiring at the very least.
    I send thee this sweet perfume a fragrance to the fragrant, as one would offer wine to the god of wine.
