Default Guerlain Current vs. Vintage Parfum

We need to finally clear this up; once and for all.
Is vintage really that much better? Is it miles different from today's current parfums? Seriously, do I really need to seek out vintage?
The reason I ask this, because it's so much of a hassle (time, money, etc...).
I'm considering buying a few Guerlain parfums, and I really don't want to seek out vintage, but if it's soooo different, then I guess I'll have to look around.

It kinda depends on which frag you're talking about, but the simple answer is yes. Especially with Mitsouko and L'Heure Bleue, the difference is like night and day.
Looking to swap/buy/receive for free () the following samples/decants:

    Chant d'Aromes extrait

You mean the square parfum tester bottles , yes some I have seen appear to be genuine

Agreed there is a vast difference between vintage and current Mitsuoko , Vol de nuit however is practically the same IMO
