    Default What would you revive

Ok i did a search and either they are really buried or non-title specific..

This is my first thread post in ages and have also been away for sometime. so do hold back your ammunitions and ignore if you have already found this to be covered.
I'd Like to know which scents(mainstream would be more relevant to me;nice ever welcomed) that have been discontinued; that you would pay(ok maybe not) or wish would be revived. I"ll start with a couple closer to heart and add on along the way if the response is good.thanks!

    I loved my Helmut Lang.
Liquid Karl (Lagerfeld) could match just about any of the new gourmonds.

    Easy:

    Guerlain Après L'Ondée Parfum Extrait
    Guerlain Djedi
    Guerlain Mitsouko
(you know what I mean )
    Creed Vintage Tabarôme 75ml bottles

    And I'd like to try:
    Aramis Havana
    Patou PH

Thoughts on Yohji Yamamoto? I was big on him as a designer, before the fragrance bug bit. Unfortunately by the time i checked out his range of fragrances, quite a few have been discontinued.

Aramis Surface would be my choice. Great fresh masculine scent ... but I'm not ready to part with upwards of three hundred bucks on ebay for it.

It sounds great, but my only concern is the quid vs the SGD and the shipping from the UK. and the ooverly strict and invasive local customs when it comes to liquid filled containers. anyways PM sent. thanks Gblue

Apres l"Ondee Parfum Extrait - but only if it isn't full of "new and improved" molecules. Was it discontinued because they couldn't be true to original ingredients or the accountants weren't impressed with sales figures?
Yohji Homme - I had bottle when it came out . . .
Le Feu d'Issey - I'd love to know what all the fuss is about
Fleurs Verte (?) the Creed one that came out as a limited edition in 2006 and sounds good.

PLEASE Guerlain bring Djedi back!! And Hermès, what about Doblis!? And Procter&Gamble, isn´t it time to re-release Patou pour Homme?! And Balmain, Ebène was such a great scent - reintroduce it! And Rochas, don´t you think the glorious three M´s deserve to see light again? Moustache, Monsieur and Macassar!? And Shiseido: I so want to smell the famous Nombre Noir, or am I chasing after a mirage?

I have never been able to test it, but Jil Sander Background sounds very interesting and well made. I would like for that bottle to be revived. Cool name for a fragrance as well.

Also, definitely Helmut Lang Cuiron. Just a very comforting fragrance.

Lord, I know what you mean, frug. I would gladly pay niche prices for a bottle of this crappy Mennen aftershave/cologne called "Trouble" that was out there in the early '70's. It was like a peppery version of Brut. I really just want to confirm my scent memories more than anything else. I feel like smelling this fragrace again would validate my memory in some weird way.

Holy crap! I had no idea this was going for so much. I have an almost full bottle. Never wear it much because once I wore it to work and oversprayed it on my neck, thinking I could get away with it because it was a light scent. Unfortunately, my female coworker made me wash it off because it was so strong. Haven't worn it since. Something about the calone note is a little harsh and severe, but aside from that Surface is a pretty good scent.

I'd like to see them reintroduce Habit Rouge Dry.
