Dante original. My first cologne as a boy, bought with my odd-job money, long gone, a rarity, passionately sought by many on the internet.

AFAIK, it's discontinued. There are quite a few bottles around, though. It's definitely on my revival list.

I am of the understanding that Havana Reserva has been discontinued but the original Havana is still in production but is in rather limited distribution. Understand it is easily available in South Africa.

I have never been able to test it, but Jil Sander Background sounds very interesting and well made. I would like for that bottle to be revived. Cool name for a fragrance as well.

Also, definitely Helmut Lang Cuiron. Just a very comforting fragrance.

Lord, I know what you mean, frug. I would gladly pay niche prices for a bottle of this crappy Mennen aftershave/cologne called "Trouble" that was out there in the early '70's. It was like a peppery version of Brut. I really just want to confirm my scent memories more than anything else. I feel like smelling this fragrace again would validate my memory in some weird way.

Have not sampled it yet Matthew. I am still undecided on whether or not to blind buy a bottle. The problem with me is that I change my mind every 6 days. .

Holy crap! I had no idea this was going for so much. I have an almost full bottle. Never wear it much because once I wore it to work and oversprayed it on my neck, thinking I could get away with it because it was a light scent. Unfortunately, my female coworker made me wash it off because it was so strong. Haven't worn it since. Something about the calone note is a little harsh and severe, but aside from that Surface is a pretty good scent.

I'd like to see them reintroduce Habit Rouge Dry.
