Smile What to wear for an upcoming... blizzard. Avoiding cabin fever!

A little frivolous post, but our Oklahoma winter is ending with a big storm forecast for tonight through Sunday. As I won't be out in the weather, what scent(s) from my wardrobe would you recommend for My Snow Days SoTD?

I'll be sure to have "my man" out securing everything. The compound is rather protected though... so I'm confident it will!

(imagines swaggering through the expansive hallways wearing the jacket and the 'fume!)

Ah, thanks! I'm thinking stormy thoughts...

And I believe I will dabble in a little bit of all the suggestions. Why not?

Chergui. Always appropriate for chilly weather.

Oh if only I HAD Chergui! It might make my concern about those out shoveling the snow off the long track to the mansion so much less... concerning!

(I may have to rely on other scents in my wardrobe.)

    (smiles)

mmm... Chergui sounds wonderful. Wish I had "teleport" capabilities! (I do have Fumerie Turque to keep me warm though)

    >heh<

(Oh, aside to mrcologneguy, your PM quota seems to be "full")

Muscs Koublai Khan or Fumerie Turque would be my choices for you.
    Keep safe and warm!

Thanks for the note about the PMs being full. Cleared 'em.

Of your wardrobe, I'd go for the Mitsouko. That one always strikes me as a cold weather scent. I am very fond of it. Don't have it for myself, but I've sampled once or twice, and given it as a gift.

You have a very nice wardrobe, BTW. Very impressive!

Thanks! And it looks as though our "blizzard" is more of a winter's last gasp, even though there are big fat snowflakes falling and the flags are standing straight out in the wind, this is more a dusting than a blizzard. Now THIS was indeed a blizzard (that's me doing the ad libbed somewhat amateur narration and "cinematography", etc.) :

And this just took the thread to off topic land. Let's see if Miz Science can bring it back:

Ever notice that freshly fallen snow has a dusty smell? That's because inside each of those snowflakes is a particle of dust... without the dust, there would be no snow. And that's a scientific fact. - Miz Science.

My suggestion's a little late, but I'd go with Bandit. A warm big cat in its den.

Goodness, I never pictured Oklahoma getting a blizzard! While here in CT we seem to be getting April weather early.

This past 9-12 months have been very, very wet in OK... things that "shouldn't yet be green" are. Before I moved back here from Seattle, the entire countryside was on fire here... I was expecting dry, dry-er, and dry-est, but I rode in on the teeth of a rain/ice storm and it has been wet ever since. This winter has had the most snow for OK in my memory. Odd... but that's the climate for you! (I hear that China is becoming desertified.) Earth is a wonderful place to live but sometimes.... (grins)
