Day #21 SIHNWIAY
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost
Vetiver : Guerlain

Guerlain's Chamade vintage extrait - I know this sounds very unmanly, but I'm saying it anyway: It's so touchingly beautiful that it almost makes me weep...

For me a work of fiction exists only insofar as it affords me what I shall bluntly call aesthetic bliss, that is a sense of being somehow, somewhere, connected with other states of being where art (curiosity, tenderness, kindness, ecstasy) is the norm. - Vladimir Nabokov
Pour Monsieur by Chanel today... going to the "beach" today... well it's more of a small hill in the middle of the city with a park on top... not sure if there is even any water there... but there is some sand!

Just spent the afternoon with the_good_life IRL in Copenhagen, and he made me smell Grezzo, Benefactor, Patou pour Homme and Black Tie. How very different from my usual guerlinade path! I could smell myself all the time because all these scents were new to me. I ended up preferring Benefactor, a warm woody rose with some delicious saffron spice. Lovely experience.
