Begging/pleading/possibly crying with the loan people today. Need to delay those payments till a job prospect comes through. Wishing hope and encouragement to everyone else who knows the feeling.

Dior Homme today. It has comforting associations, like wearing a hug all day long. Thank you Daniel.

Fleur de Narcisse wore off in a nano second, as expected. Now, I'm wearing Ann Taylor Orange Nectar & Honeysuckle body spray on one arm, and Bath & Body Works Wild Honeysuckle edt on the other, and I smell like the most delicious cocktail. Alize punch with a flower on top.

Exquisitely me, honey, I'll be thinking of you and remembering you in my prayers. (((hugs))) There are a lot of people going through exactly what you are. I hope the loan people will be willing to work with you until you get back on your feet.

Today I'm not wearing anything just yet (maybe this evening; I'll update later).

Yesterday, though, I wore Gucci's Envy for Men from my boyfriend's Sephora sample to see if, given a full application, it would work its magic on me too. Well, it did...mostly. It was really nice on me in the end, but too masculine for the first little while, and the drydown was just not quite as magnificent on me as on him. I think it'll be his next present... but I may steal a few squirts from time to time!

Also yesterday, he wore Dior Homme, also from a Sephora sample. I'm mentioning this here because I see that exquisitely me is wearing it today and I thought a few of you might also be familiar with it. Do any of you think it smells very similar to the original Burberry for Women? I've worn the Burberry for a year or so now, and all yesterday when I sniffed my boyfriend, all I could think was "you smell like my Burberry!" So naturally, I stole his sample and I will be conducting a side-by-side test in the near future!

    Have a great day everyone!

Exquisitely me, you are definitely not alone. Hang in there--most banks these days are more likely than ever to work with homeowners towards a solution.

Leesee and Chaya, good to know I'm not the only one who doesn't love swummer (typo, but it stays). Fall and winter are my favorite seasons. Remind me again why I live in San Diego?

Wordbird, keep taking it easy. Enjoy the needlepoint, cross-stitch, some good books, and sitting on the couch, drinking wine, eating chocolate and watching A&E's Pride and Prejudice for the umpteenth time. . . . Wait, who were we talking about here? Anyhow, from one lazy girl to another, make the most of your convalescence!

SMM, you are a good man.

SotD: White Jasmine & Mint for teaching today. Hopefully it will ward off whining (I give a midterm today).

Warm (for North Scotland) today, driving about to a meeting and the scenery is lovely, all blue sky and sea, green new leaves with the odd patch of yellow here and there. Jicky for the main part of the day. Then home to a cooler late afternoon because there is a little mist coming in from the sea and a little more breeze wearing a little spray of Mahora for the evening.

SotA (I only used 2 small sprays of this morning's scent and it's already gone) is a sample of SL Un Lys. It's a warm scent, very different from AG Des Lys which is cooler and greener. I have to think about how I feel about this scent. Usually I avoid musk and vanilla as they make me feel ill; Un Lys isn't having that effect. But even so, I'm not sure I could wear this. One tiny dab on my wrist and it is getting my attention insistently.

Good day all, hope monday is treating you well. For all the folks in Europe, where I wish I was still, you are enjoying a tranquil work-free monday, I do hope.

((Wordie)) Pace yourself love, even though you may feel as if you can jump back into it all, make sure you keep to the knitting and other stress free activities.

    ((Chaya)) (((Hugs))) xoxoxo

((Exquisitely Me)) I hope all things coming your way will bring good fortune, luck, and peace of mind.

((SMM)), now just exhale and go with the flow of the week. Your wife has the perfect champion in you.

For some reason I woke up, quite late, and immediately reached for vintage Blue Grass

I had just received another back up bottle of the vintage and just felt it was a perfect scent for the day.

Hoping all feel as tranquil as I do today; Orthodontist and I decided to do the braces come autumn, which will make for a more peaceful summer.

Love and hugs for all of you, the beautiful aroma here is intoxicating.

Am feeling uncharacteristically down-in-the-dumps, weepy and terribly hormonal, not to mention having a head cold. Vetiver Tonka is helping though :-)

Do feel better sweety. Have a nice cup of hot chocolat, it makes troubles fade away and chocolat is good for you, especially during "hormonal" times.

Maison de la Vanille Givree des Antilles (I am glad no one in the market asked me what I was wearing). This frag reminds me very much of EL Pleasures Delight.

It is 96 degrees here and the lightness of the MdlV line wears pretty well.

Returned from Lisbon with a bottle of Mugler Cologne ('twas so hot there that I craved something cooling and refreshing). I had a great time there, meeting aquaintances and friends and making new ones at the conference.
Sigh, now it's back to work tomorrow.

Hope you're having a good week everyone!

Thank you, Brielle87, for your kind words! I don't really have troubles, per se, I'm just so weeeeeeeeepy! You are so right, though, chocolate is a wonderful idea. Good thing I've got a few Belgians in the pantry (chocolate, I mean )!

Actually forgot (!) to put perfume on during the day (got too absorbed into work; not a bad thing as such, but the irony is that it was perfume-related writing). Anyway, went for a spray of Citron Citron for the evening, just to revive and clear my head.
