My best shot at phonetics - try to run it all together. The soft G is tricky - a bit like ' injured '.

This should do until someone from the continent comes to the rescue . . . hopefully sooner rather than later

If you use the text-to-speech suggested by CanwllCorfe, make sure you write genièvre and not genievre (without the accent) to get the right pronunciation. The one suggested by cusut is fine whether you write it with or without the accent.

It sounds even nicer if you let them say the full name:
Baie de Genièvre Feuilles de Canneliers

Claire does it very nicely. It's also fun to let them talk dirty with a French accent .

It never occurred to me (surprisingly) to make the little translator voices swear their butts off! What a scream!

    Make them say:

Qui est ce con de vieillard?
    Tu m'emmerdes!
    Va te faire enculer!
    Je m'en fous!
    Sacré fils de pute!

    P. S. I can't give translations here... It's all rather idiomatic.

leave it to the romance languages to make "a small piece of shit" sound sexy... i speak fluent italian, french, and spanish... and it amazes me how some phrases sound as if they were out of an american poetry book... "il faut que vous lavez les mains en entiere avant que travailler"... you need to wash your hands completely before you work

Yeah... I think it's because it doesn't recognise the word at all when written without the accent so it just reads the syllables... and the result is not too good!

C'est affreux! Faut que quelqu'un appelle les flics!
It's interesting though, how the french wouldn't find those phrases any where near as shocking as we'd find their english equivalents! Here's another, and it's the french way of saying 'to split hairs': enculer les mouches! (I've always loved that one)

No worries dear, I'm here to stay

I actually think it's nice your text-to-speech can only pronounce words when they're written right, French isn't supposed to be easy!
