    Default Jean Patou Monsieur Net

I just received a bottle of Jean Patou Monsieur Net after shave via e Bay. From the looks of it, it seems to be at least 40 years old. I was reading on some website that this was created in 1956. It is not listed in the basenotes fragrance directory. The fragrance is not quite citrus, but is very refreshing.

Oooh, really cool. I know nothing about this product but really miss Patou Pour Homme. Groovy bottle and great package design. Looks like some Piguets from the early sixties. Nice find there.

Just received a bottle of vintage Monsieur NET cologne by Jean Patou that I`ve been hunting on ebay for more than a year.
    Aromatic citrus cologne.

    Any ideas about the name?
Is it Mister Clean renamed for French Quebec (Monsieur No)?
Is it French nickname of Soviet Foreign Affairs Minister "Mister No" Kosygin?
    Is it some film\literature hero?

Since net in French can mean clear, clear-cut, straight, clean, neat, or tidy, that's how I think the name is used in Monsieur Net. But this is only a guess.

It's mean Monsieur clean, or monsieur propre

    Thanks for the replies, guys!
I have to buy French-Russian vocabulary first
Anyway - citrus cologne as clean masculine perfume sounds as a good idea.
