    Default love affair

    I am in love with L Anarchiste.period.
I am not even half through a 100 ml bottle and today I got a 50 ml (thank you MO). There are only two fragrances in my wardrobe that I have a backup (just in case a nuclear war.. you know) GIT and L Anarchiste.
I love the juice, the bottle, the name and the packing. This is m secret weapon and it works !
Thank you Caron for such a gem at a reasonable price.

    Amen, Basteri!

I think this scent goes to show that Richard Fraysse shouldn't be so demonized - his reworkings of Caron's women's scents is likely not under his creative freedom (the same can't be said for Jean Paul Millet-Lage of MPG!).

This scent is just amazing. It's in my top 3.

I always thought it was Roja Dove that was behind L'anarchiste or was it named after him or something Im sure thats what I read , maybe I was mistaken !!!! Ive to try anything from Caron , Im intrigued by the house and its history but hear mostly negative comments regarding reformulations and the like

just a little anecdote. The day I met my GF I was wearing L Anarchiste, she adore it from day one. Now, I only wear it for special ocassions just for her. If she is crossed with me I wear L Anarchiste :-)

I also wear it when I want to make an impression because everyone has something to say about it, L Anarchiste does not leave people indifferent.
    Did I mentioned I like L Anarchiste? :-)

It's good to hear some heartfelt praise for L'Anarchiste. It think the scent is often mis-characterized and much underappreciated.

Fumerie Turque. Though for some curious reason it hurt my eyes, I do love it. Such a comforting, embracing scent. Meditative, loveable, what else can I say... nothing. That's enough.

I prefer The Third Man to L'anarchiste. L'an is not bad though. And as strange as I found it initially, Yatagan is pungeantly pleasant as well. But the Third Man, when that bad boy dries down, booooooooooooooy it is nice! An absolute winner.

I was disappointed when I (blind) bought L'Anarchiste a few months ago. I thought it was pleasant, but a bit loud and uninteresting. And I thought of it as a cold weather frag. Well enough folks on BN praise it in warm weather that I decided to try it on a hot day a few weeks ago. Much better! The heat makes this one sing.

Still, it's only my third favorite of my three Carons, behind Yatagan and 3rd Man (tied for first, I suppose....such different scents!).

+1 It is perfect on me. Smokey and so different than what people smell in the malls. Does not hurt my eyes.

Even if I might not love Anrachiste as much as I WORSHIP (call me mad, but this is my passion) Caron pour un Homme, I just LOVE (and I mean it with no irony) the idea of stocking up on fave scents in case of a nuclear war. Truly worth considering!
