I don't actually see Nahéma as a true "floral" so much as a lactonic floral-oriental, so my vote goes to Chamade by default.

Oooh. Apples and oranges. I voted Chamade b/c I wear it frequently and am never much in the mood for Nahema, as lovely as it is. I don't wear rose scents very well, and Nahema is all rose on me.

    Question Re: Chamade vs Nahema

I just wish I could find a discount source for Nahema. Why is it so hard to find anymore?

Chamade for me for sure. I appreciate Nahema for what it is but I am very particular about rose fragrances.

    BOTH!

These two are completely different. I'd never think of choosing between the two. In fact, I do have both.

I voted for Chamade. I have but rarely wear Nahema. Chamade is easier to wear and Nahema's rose is too heavy on me.

They are both Ethel-Merman-sized florals but Chamade finishes first with me, ever so slightly.

    Like RHM- BOTH.
I'm guilty of 'reserving' [ read: hoard] them...
I love them SO MUCH- like my Mitsouko-
    That I fear losing them.
    Silly me.

Toughie, b/c Nahema is gorgeous, but you gotta be in the mood for it. I love Chamade's drydown, but the top note could be better worked out. I choose Chamade by default.

I voted Chamade because I used to wear way back when. A girlfriend had Nahema that someone had given her as a gift, but at that time I thought it was boring. Maybe I'd feel differently today, but I voted Chamade out of nostalgia.

Too much galbanum topnotes for me in Chamade (reason I dislike No. 19), and too much creamy, luscious rose in Nahema...and that's exactly why I picked Nahema

Well, Nahema failed to stir me, too. So that's that, I will have to try Chamade. Besides, that little quiz on the Guerlain website said that it's a fragrance that will make me smile!

Tried Chamade and it didn't do anything for me, Nahema on the other hand I love. Though if I had to have just one Guerlain floral I'd pick Apres L'Ondee over either - far easier to wear regularly.

Both stunning but Nahema blows me away in all concentrations... the radiance and depth of the rose accord is stunning. I just arranged to purchase a 30ml Nahema parfum from a BNer at a great price, which makes me happy. To answer Tesla's question, Guerlain only imports the parfum to the US and neither the edt nor edp, thus now that the discount sites are sold out the prices are fairly high.

Of course all love to Chamade. I still need to explore different concentrations and vintages to get a better grasp of it in its totality.

Nahema didn't work for me at all and if truth be told I'd forgotten about it. The fruit was too concentrated for me and as a fruit/rose duet went sour and metallic on me; it felt almost coppery. I voted Chamade by default.

I forgot to say, I have Chamade parfum. But the Nahema sample I tried was probably EDT. I'm sure that makes a huge difference.

I tried Nahema in EDP and extrait. While I think it is an outstanding fragrance, I just don't see it as terribly wearable for me. I preferred the EDP because the fruit seemed more subtle.

So, Kumquat and Asha... should I spring for the little mini Chamade that I'm eyeing on ebay, or should I try it first in a lesser concentration???

My sample is EDP, and I think it is plenty strong. Guerlains seem to have a tendency of being more 3-dimensional in extrait form, although they are closer wearing. I'm a huge fan of parfum strength--so I might not be the most objective person to ask

Thanks, Asha! I have limited experience with parfums, but I just put an offer in on the little mini Chamade. I've been reading reviews, and I'm really intrigued (blackcurrant and galbanum - yum!), but the reports of aldehydes scare me a bit. I can handle powdery aldehydes, but the shimmering/champagne-y ones are not my thing. Crossing fingers...

Chamade is the best green floral Guerlain has ever created Nahema on the other hand is just to loud and fake for my personal taste
I am not afraid... I was born to do this.

I'm so confused! I was going to buy one or the other with my birthday money and now I don't know which to get. To add to my confusion, I was thinking about getting L'Heure Bleue EDP, I have the EDT and love it, but is it worth buying over Chamade or Nahema?
