Default Would You Wear CURVE by Liz Clairborne?

Would you wear this scent and night, formal events, gatherings, or even daily use? I think its real versatile and smells just great but I can be mistaken. Who has an opinion?

I had a roommate who wore it and it smelled fantastic on him. I wouldn't wear it though just because in my mind, that scent is too closely associated with him. It'd be like wearing his clothes.

Nope. Smells boring on others, and lousy out of the bottle. Don't even want to know what it smells like on me.

I wore it in high school and loved it then, but I've since grown out of it.

It is a fairly flimsy fragrance... certainly not offensive but not interesting, either. For the same $15-20 a bottle costs there are better options. I bought Versace Baby Blue Jeans for about $13 (it was at a discount store right next to Curve). Of course if you dig it then by all means go for it.

This scent reminds me of ADG...Everybody and their dog wears it. I would not wear it.

No, I don't think I would wear it, although I sampled it a few times, but it didn't leave me with neither particularly pleasant nor unpleasant memories. Nevertheless, I would probably consider wear it on strictly informal occasions and in combination with strictly casual wear.

I really liked it in a magazine I smelled it in a year or two ago. I have a small bottle but haven't worn it in several months. I go back and forth on whether or not I'll wear it again.

Something about Curve makes me hate it. It could be the rediculous number flankers that came out in just 5 years. Or maybe that they always show up in Marshalls/TJ Maxx. Maybe its the ugly bottle and print design. I don't even remember how it smells but due to the above reasons I don't really want to. I have similar feelings to RSVP by KC, these things just pile up in Marshalls and have one of the ugliest bottles.

One that I used very rarely.....I never did like the way that these bottles sprayed.....I could never get a good spray.....short little sprays.....Not for me.

I wouldn't wear it even if it were the last fragrance on earth. But that's just me.

I use to like it years ago but I quickly grew out of it. In fact, I haven't seen it at the counters in a while. Is it still available? Perhaps I just don't notice.

Believe it or not, Curve was once popular around here, and people used to say it was a good scent, as opposed to not a bad scent. And I recollect one member who still posts here commenting at the time on how he wore it to some function, it was driving women crazy. Then I also remember numerous members commenting that it was a knock-off of Green Irish Tweed.

I think it's pretty good, but I'm fonder of Clairborne Sport.

Not so popular as ADG here .... i have no problem wearing it ....i can say it is a neutral fragrance in all aspects (smell,sillage,longivity....etc) but the price is good

    OMG me too.

The other day I smelled Curve (the sillage from this scent is unmistakable) on a very handsome guy, exiting the building my office is in. This guy would have smelled SO much better wearing something else IMO.

If you like it wear it. It's certanly a good fresh, clean scent. You really can't go wrong. I see it more as a casual scent and not formal, though.

this is the best advice anyone can give you here...if you like it and people around you dont hate you for it, i say go for it...if you like it but everyone else despises it, wear it for yourself when no one else is around...i have found with fragrance, it should matter what you like first, but we should be also kind to those around us too.

    Enjoy!!

BTW, I kinda like the stuff.

This thread inspired me to wear this the other day. I must say it is a great scent... The only reason I haven't worn it much is that I wore the heck out of it through grade school and high school. But it is a very pleasant scent.

I used to have a bottle given to me by my mom ( was first my cologne given to me) and didn't really like it much. I found that I like it more now that my fragrance hobby has improved my sense of smell. It's a good cologne and if you can find a really cheap price, it is a good choice!
