Default Dentist and ..of course which fragrance

I know I know .. just for fun.
I am asking because yesterday I went to the dentist and I was looking at my fragrances and deciding what to wear. I must admit that I have a pathological fear to dentist I hate them with passion. Anyhow I wore L Instant extreme , I thought it will send a " I come in peace, be gentle"·
I ended up with a molar extraction and a few stitches I guess L Instant was not very effective

I wore Gucci By Gucci Pour Homme. The visit to the dentist turned out very well for me because i was clear of any cavities. The only reason i wore Gucci By Gucci Pour Homme was because i wanted to finish the bottle.

4711 EDC... it smells medicinal, even mouth wash-like so won't make the dentist gag whilst in your mouth (oooo how rude does that sound?? lol)

I am assuming that this is a hypothetical question, bearing in mind that the dentist will be forced to work pretty close to the epicentre of your fragrant application. I had a root filling last week, and it was the first time in some months that I refrained from applying anything in the morning. However, getting into the spirit of the thread, I would pick something from the mint imbued Cartier range.

I wore Jicky and Datura Noir to the dentist, all very comforting ( to me)

From what I see in your wardrobe, maybe Rive Gauche by YSL, Vetiver by Guerlain or even Cologne by Thierry Mugler. Hard to find anyone who could be offended by those fine scents, better if you go easy on the trigger...

I try hard to wear the best of the best and each time something different. Of course my dentist noticed. It would be awesome if he once makes a comment or finally buys some decants. LOL!

I don't like going to the dentist. It's not the pain or them drilling my teeth... it's the fact every time I go they say I need another cavity filled or another root canal!

The smell of mint makes me hate the dentist.

I also like the way the dentist environment smells, but wearing a ton of scent myself helped a lot in getting me to relax a little more.

    Three things come to mind:

    1. With the smell of eugenol everywhere, you would have to resort to a sillage bomb and / or a fragrance with notes working well with it.

    2. Lavandula... isn it supose to have a calming effect? Of course, it won't beat clonazepam.

    3. If the patient is into SM, a dark scent would do.

I would suggest a "relax and enjoy it" approach: MPG Secret Melange. The weirdest, coldest, medicinal clove , and probably the only MPG I wouldn't wear. Probably the reason i don't like it is that the clove here is so..... eugenol-y it makes an immediate association to the dentist's chair.

If you wanted to go with the clove thing - how about L'eau d'Eau by Diptyque? Light enough so you don't slay the poor guy (the dentist, that is), spicy enough to be comforting.

Eau d'Ativan (2mg) along with Bois d'Advil afterwards.

Seriously though - I wear whatever I want to the dentist, though my doctor's office is a "fragrance free" zone.

For no particular reason, I wore Body Kouros to the dentist once and the female hygienist asked me if I had on a Gaultier or Versace fragrance. It put me off Body Kouros for the longest time.

I don't wear any fragrance to the dentist. The office has always smelled fine the way it is.

I wear minty stuff to the dentist so I'll smell nice, like mouthwash.

I would wear Korous, because if he is going to hurt you, you might as well hurt him back with a massive headache, and nausea.

I have always thought Creed Epicea smells like a dental office due to the pine and spice mix that comes off kinda medicinal in a what that exudes the colloidal particles that float in the air as aftermath of drilling, polishing, etc.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?
