    Dior Homme - modern beauty

    Bvlgari Aqva - substantial weight
    - shape and design makes sense of what's inside
    (atomizer can be improved though)

Encre Noire - love the simplicity, reflects its dark, smoky and woody nature
(not a fan of the juice though, all I smell is cut plywood)

Versace Dreamer - gaudy cheese, but it's reflective of its house, and I appreciate it for that

Gucci Envy for Men - sleek, represents the fashion of the times (90's clean with a dash of sex and mystery

What I don't like : Rive Gauche (great juice, I hate the can. I always suspect it's running out! Or I get a gnawing body-spray-drugstore purchase feel from the packaging

    no! really?

i think the can is great! i love the idea, it's very well designed. besides good looking, it is the best storage possible, nothing beats an aluminum container in keeping your juice fresh.

and since this thread is less fun without images,

One of the best and most creative I've seen is Paco Rabannes 'Ultraviolet', even if the fragrance isn't very popular on here.

I like most of the Bulgari bottles, including Black, PH, Soir, Blu, Aqua etc.

Thumbs up Re: Best Bottle (non-Niche)

    This SMALTO's FULLCHOKE is funny

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Oh wow , that is soooo damn hilarious ! ... I thought you were joking when you called it "full choke". ... But no ! , I'm still finding it hard to believe that that is what they actually named it ! ... Classic !!! ...( Luv all those cut corners on this bottle actually ! )

Do you have ultraviolet man? What does it smell like; what do you like about it? When should you wear it? And does the atomizer shoot powerfully? thanks

Two that spring to mind are Versace's The Dreamer and Davidoff's Adventure. I like the simplicity and practicality of the latter and the metal 'shoulders' on the bottle. Just wish the juice was more tenacious!
Another: Eau de Cartier with it's funky perspex ring-lock mechanism
Another (they're coming thick 'n fast now!): Balmain's Ambre Gris. Come to think of it, this bottle is probably my favourite.
    ...stopping now.

I like simple minimalist bottles with simple caps. The Gendarme bottles come to mind and also the Geoffrey Beene bottles. I also like the frosted cylinder bottle of CK Escape.

That said, I do think the Dior Homme bottle is a stunner. I have the 1-ounce bottle, and the taller-than-wide shape of that size really accentuates its sleek looks.

+1 on Gucci PH II and Dior Homme. I also love the simplicity of Antidote, and Flowerbomb is very attractive (great scent as well), Hypnose, and the novelty of Diesel Fuel for Life.

Balmain's Ambre Gris ? ... You are not an obsessive golfer by any chance, are ya ? (LOL) ...
(Nah, just pullin your leg ... It is kinda cool chunky bottle ! )

Yes I do own Ultraviolet Man. I really enjoy it and I feel it is nice despite the negative it gets around here. The smell is hard to describe but I will try. It is sweet, and has hints of pepper, amber, sweet mint and oakmoss. Best thing to do if you are interested is to test it yourself, as you are your own judge and critic.

I really like the fact it is different to anything else I have smelled. It's subtle and has great staying power but in a subtle way. I think it's best worn in casual situations and everyday use, very versatile, no specific times of the year really.

It also gets compliments. A lesbian friend of mine told me that she would turn straight for a man wearing this (I think she was joking, but still). Plus women love it!

I have no problems with the atomizer, it does spray very powerfully when pressing the trigger fully in.

One other thing. I also have Ultrared Man. This one has the same bottle but red in colour. I prefer it. It's very sweet with an orangey/toffee aroma. It is great!!
