    10 Corso Como
by 10 Corso Como (Carla Sozzani)

Sandalwood, Frankincense, Musk, Rose, Geranium, Vetiver, Malay Oud-Wood

    Thanks, lsp_NY!
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

    LE TROISIEME HOMME

Another masterpiece from the venerable house of CARON
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Completely by serendipity, I am scent twins with JaimeB!

Today for me, Guerlain Chamade, from a sweet little bee bottle.

Chamade notes: Turkish rose, ylang-ylang, jasmine, lilac, blackcurrant buds, lily of the valley, galbanum, sandalwood, vetiver, musk, amber, iris, and tonka bean.
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson

Lorenzo Villoresi Sandalo layered with Lorenzo Villoresi Uomo. I find both to be great scents individually, but too weak. Maybe this will help. I really like the scent of the result of the layering so far.

    CLEAN Ultimate EDP

Really enjoying this new purchase. Very Gendarme like, but with a little more floral feeling swirling around.
Great longevity and moderate sillage. I smell like I just took a shower and broke a small sweat (musk).
I tried all the other frags from the Clean line and this was the only one that I enjoyed.

Don't worry about me going too clean though....I have my eye on MKK as soon as it gets to the export line.

The Guerlain sales representative that I talk to suggested this :

    L'Heure Bleue layered over Mitsouko

I smelled the EDT's (in the store) combined together and the L'Heure Bleue really overpowered Mitsouko. Then I got home and tried my EDP's together and this time Mitsouko was so much stronger.

I'm wearing them both today! It's nice.
