Default In The Mood For Love by Ferre - wow, check out that bottle!

The nose behind this fall release is Maurice Roucel. Notes are: tamarind, bergamot, sour orange, magnolia, white rose; middle notes are orange flower, lily, jasmine, red rose, cedarwood; base notes are amber, white musk and sandalwood. Just lovely.

Thanks to the Secret Salamander blog for the tip.

The "dark twin" to both the bottle and the fragrance would be Silences by Jacomo.

I'm looking foward to this one too. If anything, it means the house of Ferre is still alive, even after the maestros's passing.

Gee, that sounds very pretty. Not so sure about that bottle, though!

It kind of looks like a cut aspirin.

It's a birth control pill. This is the 1960s and the beginning of the sexual revolution.

    Make love, not war!

I will be trying this. The perfume, I mean.

Sounds more like a erectile dysfunction pill (In the Mood for Love) not a birth control, no?

I would say that depends on age and intention, wouldn't you?

    Looks like an interesting scent.

LOL at O! LOL at Mikie!

I stilll have to find a tamarind in a scent that is not too stuffily sweet and artificial. It, perhaps, will NOT be another pear+magnolia or pear+freesia combo, I hope. And then again, GFF's scents are unbeatable for precious woods in the drydown, have been "Italian" (citrus+woods) to the core and I pray they stay this way now that GFF himself is not with us any longer.
