I live in north Texas and it's quite humid here as well. From my experience, emporio Armani "he" is a great all weather/ocassion fragrance. It's safe enough for office wear yet unique enough to wear out. It will get you compliments and is not overbearing.

    What these mean:
Your frag smells great in your office but as soon as you step out it tends to get cloying and 'ripe'. It's tough to pick the right scent.
And it seem to limit my options to mostly fresh citrus/aquatics.

Do you know of any scent that performs well in ALL weather?
    These in my experience -

    Interlude Man
    Kouros

Where I live, Mugler Cologne seems to fit any climate as the simplest, easiest option, however if and when neither heat nor cold are extreme, Azzaro pour Homme, Jacques Bogart One Man Show, Guerlain Heritage, Caron pour un Homme, Yardley Citrus&Wood are among the ones that can be worn during the entire year without much difficulty

    - La nuit de l'Homme from YSL.
    - Tea for Two from L'artisan Pafumeur.
    - Tamdao from Diptique.
    - Le Jardin trio from Hermes.
    - Cologne from Thierry Mugler.
That's just uncanny. 4 out of those listed are my summer fragrances too. I was wearing Hermes Jardin Sur Le Toit just today, and also enjoy Tea for Two on hot days.

Woah, blast from Diamondflame's past! Must have been among his first posts!

Interesting to see the common suggestions from that era. We must have had a thing for Gris Clair at the time. Such good taste!

Aside from fresh fragrances which are obviously fine in all weathers, I did try Body Kouros in summer once and it worked OK.

Well, when i say "heat", I mean British summer. Which isn't really "heat" at all.

Bleu de Chanel - probably the most versatile men's fragrance so far(both EDP - this one is slightly better for fall/winter, and EDT slightly better for spring/summer - but both are good for any season, any time of the day, any kind of setting - formal or informal)

Dior Sauvage and Creed Aventus are also very versatile.

Omg, lol. Yeah, I was a 2 month-old rookie then. Still a noob now. Thanks for the suggestions though. I've been able to wear leather or the heavier orientals with 1-2 sprays to the chest but limit them to the drier ones and generally avoid syrupy stuff with significant amber/honey/vanilla components.

une fleur de cassie is a heavier scent that I find does great in warm weather, I find it is more suitable than a lot of other heavy scent I own, now I havent tried putting myself in an easy bake oven wearing it but I imagine it'd be fine
