Exclamation Package left out in the cold. Is the fragrance alright???

Hi, I was on break at work today checking my email when I saw that I had received a UPS notification that my package containing CdG Avignon from BH had arrived. I ordered it for my birthday. Unfortunately, they decided to leave the package outside rather than in the entrance of my apartment building where it's more temperate. I received the email at 3:30 pm and I called a friend who was kind enough to pick it up around 6 pm and take it to his place. I just picked up the package from him, but am wondering if my fragrance might have been damaged from the cold. It was in the mid to low 20s today here in Wisconsin. The package was probably left out in the cold for at least a couple hours. Thoughts? I'm kinda worried.

To be honest, the cold would have been better for it than light or heat. I don't think that you have much to worry about, especially since alcohol freezes way below the level(s) of water in terms of temp.

I don't think it would be an issue. If you lived in Scottsdale and it was August you might have a problem.

As long as it didn't freeze, you're probably okay.

Thanks for the input guys! I'm just a bit worried that perhaps the frag started to freeze in the 2-3 hours it was outside.. After all, it is below freezing and Avignon is only 50ml.

It'd be ~90% alcohol, so it won't freeze at around 20 degrees F. You'd need to get it down to about -120 degrees F for it to start freezing.

Just wore it today. Everything seems to be fine. Thanks again for the responses! The fragrance is as I remember it when I originally got a sample over a year ago. The sillage is okay, but the longevity is quite good on my skin. I've had the scent on for about 10 hours now and I can still smell it, but it stays fairly close to the skin on me.
