Default Clive Christian No 1.......How Much.....No

Is it me or are the prices for colognes outweighing the quality of the fragrance. Now I thought Creed, Amouage, Bond No 9 etc were expensive but Clive Christian No1 for men I have seen going for £2700 for 30ml. Lol

For that I would expect the bottle of cologne to be hand delivered on a silk cushion by a nubile arabian virgin princess. And I would expect at least a massage from her highness as well. Lol

    Ridiculous prices.

I've tried the scent on paper and it's OK, but no way I'm paying the FB price. I think they try to push the limit of price that people will pay not only for the juice, but also the brand.

You're paying for the hand-made crystal bottle and the diamond, not the juice !

Yep, it also comes in the standard bottle. The version you saw is almost all because of the diamond and crystal bottle. (The regular one is no steal though)

A bit steep in price but it's a great scent IMO.

It's an extremely nice scent. Don't pay for the bottle, though.

I laugh when I read in newpaper articles the most expensive perfume in the world.
Its always Clive and its the diamonds and crystals on the bottle which make it so.

Has someone seen the new no.1 bottle with printed letters on the front? It doesn't seems to by shiny gold anymore, but a more dull yellow/brownish color. The sentence "most expencive fragrance in the world" is also gone now.

I think they're changing the packaging on all of them little by little.

I bought a bottle of this blind when it first came out. The regular bottle of course. I don't think they offered the one with the diamond back then. I was foolish back then with disposable income at my fingertips. I just didn't care for the fragrance. I thought for a men's fragrance it was way too floral for my taste. It also seemed a bit of a mixed up floral as well. So for my money I felt they way over sold this fragrance. But of course fragrance is such an individual thing. What one person adores another may find distasteful. I do think Clive was pricing this item just so he could say they sold the most expensive fragrance in the world rather than it actually being worth the price of admission. Only each individual person can tell. I learned my lesson about blind buying though. Thank you Clive Christian for that. I felt lucky to have been able to re sell it.

The more expensive it is, the better it smells and higher the quality.

If Creed was £20 a bottle no one would want it.

It should be. It's practically an EDT.
