I love Vanille Gourmande - it's surprisingly long lasting especially on clothes . Simple, uncomplicated feel good vanilla from L M .
I'm still enjoying my Bluebell- I have missed it so much !

Happy Birthday to Kewert and The Attorney, many happy returns.

Pip and Lillybelle, hope you will both be well again soon.

Chaya honey...you need a break and a cocktail also; not to mention a good 14 hours of sleep. xoxo

Today i wore Casaque by Jean d'Albret, which always makes me feel so special; i should wear it more often

Tonight i am wearing Melodie by Fragonard, which has a hint of Beautiful to it, but is much softer and more flattering on me.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening, love and hugs.

Hi all and happy birthdays to the birthday folks!

Today's SOTD has been Punjab by Capucci, from a sample (with thanks to AromiErotici!)

Very classic, starting with an herbal lemon (not the "fresh" herbs of today, but the "dark" herbs of 70's chypres), heavy on the dried basil and what I think was the juniper berry. This was over a really nice combo of pine and leather.

I was scared to put on too much, power-frag and all, so I can't really make out the base notes, but it's surprisingly sweet.

I'm not a huge fan of that 70's/80's lemon herb top, but everything else has been fantastic, so I really need to give this another wearing, probably not to work, so I can put on more. The only thing I've worn to compare this to is Bijan for Men, which has the same lemon/herb top, but Punjab's middle and base win over Bijan hands down.

And so begins the long dark journey into vintage...

I went with Paris - Moscow. It went from being my favorite from Les Voyages to the last place. In the drydown I could smell plastic, the same way my dolls smelled when I was little. Although those are happy memories, I don't want that in my perfume. Oh well, it is too expensive for that.
