Warm weather made a change of plans necessary...
Vétiver pour Elle
Top Notes: Bergamot, Neroli
Middle Notes: Honeysuckle, Lily of the Valley, Nutmeg
Base Notes: Vetiver, Tonka Bean
Green citrus bergamot, white-floral citrus neroli, green-floral honeysuckle, white-floral lily of the valley, the sweet spice of nutmeg, woody green vetiver, and the new-mown hay note of coumarin from tonka beans. Altogether a woody and green scent with traces of sweet florals and spice, with a dryish edge of coumarin powderiness. Vetiver with a touch of fougère? Yes, but too much vetiver to allow lavender in, so a kind of fougère manquée. Yet J-P Guerlain's instincts were dead-on; the right balance for a softer version of the 1961 Vétiver, if anything even woodier, less harsh, for removing the screen of rougher base notes and revealing more of the vetiver. It's quite nice for men, too — despite the rather sexist name.

Eau de Santal
A well constructed, beautiful creation of spices and woods. Doesn't need to scream.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

La Myrrhe by Serge Lutens
Like Luca Turin said, this smells a lot like a concord lime (or grape). You know that odd and deliciously juicy fruit that has a tart green smell with a sweet strawberry tone to it as well...
Perhaps it`s just me and my skin, but when I apply this it delivers a strange and almost worrying physical reaction: It feels cool on my skin for the first 30 minutes or so, like I had applied a bit some ice gel...
Talk about refreshing fragrance!!
The best citrus I have ever worn and it will always remain in my top 20 overall. I love it and it lasts around the clock.
One of my girlfriends favourites as well; she really likes to use this one and she is one damn picky lady when it comes to perfumes!
She loves it on me, too.
Yuzu, grapefruit, lime, orange, mint, thyme, and woods are the official notes.
Eau de Patou - late 70s / early 80s version, 50 ml smooth cylindrical bottle with elongated blue top.
This is just slightly more 'robust' in a chypre-ish way than the later 90s version, where the floral presence is played up a little more. Both are beautiful.

Kobe by XERJOFF
It becomes addictive stuff! I wear it 3 days in a row, at home and in office. Mornings and nights.
I`ve never thought that some citrus cologne could make me addicted to citruses.
Kobe is not just citruses (neroli is especially fantastic here, for my palates!) but some rosewood, patchouli and oud too... Anyway the start is really great!
