Default Layering suggestions for layering Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male

I have falling again for Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier, but would like to experience it in a different, perhaps warmer way. I smelled it on a card the other day and it smelled warmer than what I recall, but would really like to bring out the warmer notes. What have others on the board used for layering this classic?

    Thanks ahead.

This isn't quite what you asked for, but I'd refrain from layering Le Male... much too strong! You could look into sampling Fleur du Male which is like Le Male but with the big vanilla toned down and an opening/heart of neroli and other white flowers added.
Looking to swap/buy/receive for free () the following samples/decants:
Indult Tihota & Rêve en Cuir
    Chant d'Aromes extrait
    Vetiver pour Elle (5ml decant)

    Selling/swapping:
Versace The Dreamer 50ml (1.7oz) BNIB

I've tried Fleur de Male and find it a completely different fragrance altogether from Le Male. I simply would like to bring out some of the warmth of Le Male. I wonder if they would ever introduce it in an eau de parfum edition, not necessarily stronger, just as they did with Terre D'Hermes.

D&G pour Homme layers quite well with it... In all honesty though le Male is so strong it will override most fragrances when you layer it.
It might also layer well with a minty / lavdender frag ?

Yeah I agree a edp of Le Male would be great adding a booze note to like brandy or spiced rum to warm it up. I don't know why the never went in this direction god knows they pushed the envelope why not a perfume for men.

tough one to layer because strong gourmand/ anise notes. But adding booze note might work
