Unhappy Dark jeans, how to stop dye rubbing off

I just got another pair of dark jeans, they actually didn't even look as dark as some, but after 4 washings they are still rubbing blue off on my hands

In the past I have tried washing dark jeans with a vinegar rinse to set the dye, but that particular pair just did not stop rubbing off the dye and I returned them.

    Any ideas/tips welcome!

    Thanks

Hey BP, I dont *think* they are raw denim and I don't know what one wash denim is

    They are these Joe's Jeans:

And they call the Vince Colour (mine) a "clean dark rinse wash"

I washed them in steaming hot water this aft.

7 jeans in dark wash are terrible for dye coming off- I went around looking blue around the ankles and feet for sometime before they stopped rubbing off on me- even my nice beige sandals had blue on them. I wash mine in cold water and they stopped running after about 3 washes .

They don't look raw and most women's jeans aren't anyway. One wash is like raw that's been washed once, so you still get the good fading but without the rough starch and less breaking in, and no shrinking if they're unsanforized.

I usually hot soak new denim so it doesn't bleed onto white shoes etc. I don't really mind anymore though. Sorry for lack of help.
