    Thumbs down.
Ouch! At least you gave it a full wearing.

Wore it again today, and for the 1st time it smelled very synthetic on me, not in a bad way...but it had that plastic, new-car vibe I get from a handful of CdG's. It worked, with the incense and the woods.

Not sure if it's FBW, considering I already own Zagorsk (Series 3: Incense), Scent One: Hinoki and Odeur 71 - which Artek Standard incorporates in one-way-or-another throughout it's development.

Nonetheless, for a 'newbie' to CdG I would highly recommend this one - it's a wonderful introduction scent to some of the finer quirky elements in CdG fragrances. All rolled into one.

Sorry about resurrecting this thread, but I just got a sample of this (mainly because I really like Artek furniture), and I'm just struct by how much I love this scent! Definitely, everybody in this thread who tried and described the fragrance is spot on. I wasn't sold at first by the metallic pencil shaving top notes, but it's so unique that I just smelling it and when the tea notes surface, that's were I fell hopelessly in love. To me, it's the truest black tea scent I've tried. It's dry, it's dark, it's transparent; I just feel like someone made a pot of classic chinese tea (not the smokey Lapsang Souchong) in the room. Move over Bvlgari pH Soir, The Rouge and Tea for Two! I'm in love!
